Astronaut Discovery Training Program

September 2025

Our trainees recently completed intensive astronaut training that pushed their physical and mental limits. They experienced extreme G-forces (+5G to -1.5G) and brief weightlessness during aerobatic flights in two different aircraft, simulating the conditions astronauts face during launch and re-entry. Throughout training, they wore Hexoskin smart vests, the same technology used on the International Space Station, to monitor heart rate, breathing, and sleep patterns. The program also included a survival scenario where trainees spent the night with limited supplies and built improvised shelters, as well as immersive VR simulations testing situational awareness and split-second decision-making. The core focus of all training was building composure under pressure, adaptability, and resourcefulness, emphasizing that in extreme environments like space, success depends on making the most of available resources and maintaining the right mindset.
